2025 Fall Travel Baseball & Fastpitch Tryouts: Information & Updates
Thank you for your interest in trying out for the Prospects Travel Baseball Team for the Fall season of 2025! We are excited about the upcoming season and look forward to the opportunity to develop and compete with young athletes.
The Prospects Organization is the competitive arm of Pinellas County Youth Baseball (PCYB). Over the years, we have grown and thrived by focusing on player development, fostering teamwork, and creating opportunities for players to advance in the sport.
Fall 2025 Tryouts
We will be providing updates on our fall tryouts in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, here are a few important details about our program:
Age Groups: We currently field two 9U teams, along with 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U,14U and Highschool Development teams.
Season Schedule: The Fall season typically runs from August 1 through December 15. Managers will determine the specific dates for tryouts based on team needs and will post them on our Facebook pages and Prospects website as soon as they are confirmed. Players who are on a spring team will have first priority to remain on that team for the Fall, with manager approval. This is part of our organizational strategy, this allows us to commit to dedicated players, especially for planning major spring and summer events such as:

SPACE COAST EXPERIENCE
COOPERSTOWN EXPERIENCE
OTHER WEEK-LONG TOURNAMENTS
These events require significant funding so our teams will have up to a year to secure funding and plan for these opportunities.
EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS
In addition to our growing teams, we are thrilled to announce that one of our complexes will soon be closing for redevelopment into a state-of-the-art facility, featuring 7–8 new fields. This expansion will allow us to accommodate even more teams and continue providing top-notch facilities for our players.

During tryouts, we will evaluate hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and overall game awareness. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time with all required baseball equipment.
The tryout process will be fair and objective, with every player receiving equal consideration. Our coaching staff and evaluators will assess players based on their skills, effort, potential, and overall fit for the team.
Post-tryouts, we will review evaluations and make final roster selections for the fall season. Feedback will be provided to every participant to aid in their development.
